Well, almost good enough for a ref. I started on an actual ref a few weeks ago, and I was hating how it turned out. I mean, the markings were right and everything, but his body composition was way off. So I made this for fun!
I like these clothing colors a lot better on him (changed his fur color a bit, too). Of course he isnt just going to have one suit, though. I think I'll label his clothing style somewhere in between Chinese and Indian, although this particular outfit doesn't exactly describe that; that's just the feel I get from the character. I have a few other big cats that I am making too, and I am still deciding names and working on designs and stuff.
Well, anyways, I'm slowly coming up with a story for Rohan, and I guess you could say it is kind of plain, I dunno. He was abandoned as a cub, and was taken in by the king of the big ancient city of Ah'Kel, a misty city high in the mountains (like those big, rounded mountains in China), that has buildings largely made out of lovely gray stone, and the palace has really tall spires. Anyways, he was taken in, and was ever since referred to as a prince, although he isn't. He now actually works as a messenger, emissary, warrior, and assassin. He is very agile, and he can do quite acrobatic moves; his specialty being kicks and he is also skilled in grappling. As for personality, he is very serious, but also sometimes makes smart or funny comments, and sometimes he is funny without trying to be. he isn't a chatterbox, and doesn't exactly talk very much. He has a deep voice, but it's clear and not "growly." (His voice is comparable to Piccolo's from Dragonball Z Kai
) When people first meet Rohan, he often comes off as vain and distance, but he is actually a good soul who only wants the best for his people.
Well, that's all I've got so far. I'll probably describe him a bit more once I get a ref up.
